Welcome to the weekend! It’s Time to Refuel – April 10, 2020


Welcome to Friday!  You made it to another weekend!


I invite you to focus on refueling your tank (or filling up your bucket) over the next few days.  No doubt we are all running on empty by this point in the week.


We are managing a whole new level of stress and anxiety in our world right now…and we are in week 72 is it??  I stopped keeping track.  I only know it’s going to continue on for a while longer.  We are experiencing stress from many new circumstances related to how we work, how we parent, how we maintain our relationships and our own physical and mental well-being.


Let this blog be a reminder to ensure you are taking care of all aspects of your life this weekend.  This includes your physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual health, as well as the people in our communities who could use a hand right now.


Below are some of my favorite resources to support your mindset that I invite you to check out.   


Take a break from the news and screens.  I guarantee you there is no need for FOMO right now.  Let your nervous system relax.  Get outside and exercise, take an online yoga class, use your favorite meditation app and try something new (I recommend Yoga Nidra…it’s better than sleep!)


I’m sharing with you a few of my favorite podcasts/videos/books right now that you might appreciate listening to while you are on your daily walk, while cooking (again!), or simply being still.
